Every year on March 8, the world celebrates International Women's Day, a time to reflect on past achievements, recognize current challenges and reaffirm commitment to a future in which women and men can enjoy equal opportunities and rights. This day, first established in the early 20th century, continues to be an important opportunity to promote gender equality around the world.

The 2024 theme for this day is "Inspire Inclusion", a campaign that promotes a world free from prejudice, stereotypes and discrimination. A different, fair and inclusive world. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
